This is the operator console for funded.honeycombcredit.com. From here you can publish, redraft, delete, and inspect case studies without ever leaving the browser. Every action goes through the same audit log — a tracking GitHub Issue — that an autonomous cron uses, so the history is unified.

Quickstart

Create a GitHub Personal Access Token (fine-grained): github.com/settings/personal-access-tokens/new. Resource owner: tylerhoneycomb. Repository access: only case-study-generator. Permissions: Issues → Read and write.
Paste the token into the field below. It's stored in your own browser only — never sent anywhere except api.github.com when you submit an action.
Pick an action. Cheapest first run: Inspect (no spend, no commits) against any campaign slug to confirm everything's wired correctly.

Sharing access with a coworker

Owner adds them as a Collaborator on the repo: Settings → Collaborators. Write permission is sufficient.
They follow steps 1–3 above on their own browser, with their own PAT. The token never leaves their machine; the audit log shows their identity on every action they take.
If you need to revoke access, remove them from the Collaborators list — that immediately invalidates the workflow's auth check on any new comments they post.

Costs and limits

Generate / Redraft: ~$0.45 each in Anthropic spend. Counts against the daily rate limit (3/day default; backfill can override up to 10).
Delete / Inspect: free, no rate-limit cost.
Status comments and the final published-link comment land on the tracking issue; the portal links you straight to it.

▸ How it works (open for the longer version)

Architecture. The portal is a static page served by GitHub Pages — there is no backend. When you submit an action, JavaScript in your browser uses your PAT to call the GitHub API directly. It opens a fresh tracking Issue in the repo, then posts the matching /funded … slash command as the first comment on that Issue. A workflow on the repo (on-comment.yml) listens for those comments, runs the actual generation/redraft/delete/inspect script on a GitHub Actions runner, and posts status back to the same Issue. The site rebuilds and redeploys automatically when content changes.

Why this design. The Issue thread is the audit log — every operator action, every cron-detected funded campaign, every error, all sit in the same Issues list with full progress comments. Slash commands, the Issue Forms, the daily cron, and this portal all converge on the same audit surface. Whatever path you used to fire an action, you watch its progress in one place.

Auth. The on-comment workflow gates dispatch on author_association ∈ {OWNER, COLLABORATOR, MEMBER}. Because your PAT-posted comment carries your own GitHub identity, only repo collaborators can drive actions — anyone else's PAT (or a leaked token from a non-collaborator) is silently ignored by the workflow. Removing a collaborator immediately revokes their ability to dispatch.

What about the daily cron. Every day at noon UTC, a separate workflow scrapes invest.honeycombcredit.com's Fundraising listing, diffs it against state in the repo, and auto-generates case studies for any campaigns that just transitioned to Funded — no human touch needed. Tracking issues for cron-detected campaigns appear in the same Issues list. You can use this portal to redraft a cron-generated case study just like a manual one.

Where to look when things go wrong. First the Issues tab filtered to error label — anything that failed has the error message in its comments. Then the Actions tab for the underlying workflow run logs. Most failures are content-validation issues that show up in clear text.

Privacy. Your PAT is stored in your browser's localStorage and is sent only to api.github.com when you submit a form. It never reaches any server we run, because we don't run any. "Forget PAT" wipes it from your browser; rotating the token in GitHub kills it everywhere.

Generate

Create a new case study from a Honeycomb campaign slug. Costs ~$0.45 in Anthropic spend.

Redraft

Regenerate an existing case study with feedback. Same URL, new content. ~$0.45 spend.

Case study Feedback (optional but strongly recommended)

Without feedback the redraft is just a re-roll. Specific feedback (named patterns, named paragraphs) steers Claude meaningfully.

Delete

Remove a case study. Reversible via git revert; the deletion commit goes through main.

Case study I understand this removes the page from the live site.

Inspect

Diagnostic. Fetches a campaign's __NEXT_DATA__ and prints structure. No spend, no commit.
